Elisabeth Weber

Elisabeth Weber, age 94, of New Philadelphia, died peacefully, Thursday, March 16, 2023, in her home.

Born in Giengen/Brenz, Germany on July 20, 1928.

On April 24, 1948 she married Rudolf Weber and they enjoyed 70 years together before his passing on March 17, 2019.  On January 17, 1957 Elisabeth and Rudolf were sponsored by Emmanuel Lutheran and they moved to New Philadelphia, Ohio.

She is survived by her sons, Rudolf (Rosalie) Weber of Huntington Beach, California, and Klaus (Judy) Weber of New Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Rudolf A. Weber, Natalie Elisabeth (Ben) Weber, Melissa Silverthorn and Brandon (Sara) Kandel; five great-grandchildren, Lucas Gerber, Evan, Liam and Koen Kandel and Zane Silverthorn.

Elizbeth was preceded in death by her husband and mother, Catherine (Rodter) Kroner.

In keeping with Elisabeth’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.  Cremation care will take place through the care of Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory.
