Donna Kay Pope Hubbard

Donna Kay Pope Hubbard, age 68, of Baltic, died Tuesday, January 6, 2026, while in Aultman Hospital at Canton following a period of declining health.

Born in Union Hospital at Dover on August 7, 1957, Donna was a daughter of the late Donald Richardson and Phyllis Reynolds Richardson. She attended Indian Valley North High School and for a period of time worked as a housekeeper for Motel 6 before beginning a 20 – plus year career with 31 Group Incorporated of Newcomerstown.

Donna was the self-proclaimed queen of word search books and made it through the most challenging puzzles with ease. She enjoyed playing cards, being with her family, and vacationing with her sisters.

She is survived by her son, Michael (Tracy) Pope of Baltic; two grandchildren, Cory Pope and Natalie Pope also of Baltic; her siblings, Sonny Reynolds of Uhrichsville, Marge (Steve) Schaar of New Philadelphia, Betty Trimmer of New Philadelphia, Carol “Peach” Pope of Dover, and Frank Richardson of Bowerston as well as her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by a brother, Rich Richardson.

The family will greet guests on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 10 – 11 AM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia where John Mohn will lead a service in the funeral home’s chapel beginning at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery at Uhrichsville.
