David L. Yosick

David L. Yosick, age 78, of New Philadelphia, died peacefully, in Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital, early Friday, December 19, 2025, following a period of declining health.

Born in Dover on September 9, 1947, David was a son of the late Felix and Mary (Sparkes) Yosick.

David served the US Army and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. After his time of service, he began a career as a mechanic and truck driver. He retired from Tucson, Inc. in New Philadelphia.

In his free-time he enjoyed camping and fishing. You could also find David tending his garden or enjoying a BBQ with family and friends. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family.

David will be missed by his children, Rodney Yosick of New Philadelphia, Holly (Leno) Gonzales of Anadarko, Oklahoma, Patty (Roy) Miller of Ratliff City, Oklahoma, and Steven Yosick of Anadarko, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Rachele Yosick, Eric Yosick, Kandess (Kevin) Botone, Lena (Matthew) Topaum, Jace (Diane) Gonzales, Amber Jones, April (Jeremiah) Sales, Steve (Nisa) Miller, J.D. (Kim) Miller, Jordan Yosick, and Taylor McKinney; 34 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Norma (Rick) Breehl, and Nancy Copeland; brothers, Clifford Yosick, Dale Yosick, Felix Yosic, Jr., Richard Yosick, and Frank (Cindy) Yosick; 4 nieces; and 3 nephews..

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In keeping with David’s wishes, cremation care has been entrusted to the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will host a celebration of his life at a later time.
