Darrel Willis Biechler, 69, passed away peacefully at Hennis Care Center, Dover on September 13, 2025.
He was born in Dover, Ohio to the late Donald and Deloris (Carmody) Biechler on August 4, 1956. Darrel grew up in Mineral City and was a Tuscarawas Valley High School graduate. He served in the United States Navy as a RM1 Radioman for over 17 years, enjoying traveling the world on various ships and assignments.
Darrel loved to golf in his younger days, and never missed an Ohio State football game. He loved doting on his furkids Maggie & Ruby. He worked in sanitation at Heinz Foods until becoming disabled in 2012.
Darrel was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Daniel Biechler; sister, Debra Ittikraichareon; several aunts and uncles and his faithful dog Ruby.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, including longtime companion Dayna Euhus; beloved dog, Maggie; brother, Donald Biechler and family; three daughters, Katie, Kelly and Sarah; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other friends.
Per Darrel’s request, there will be no visitation or services. Linn-Hert- Geib Funeral Home and Crematory in New Philadelphia is being entrusted with Darrel's cremation.
