Charles Fisher

Charles “Charlie” A. Fisher, 68 of New Philadelphia died Thursday, March 1, 2018 while in the care of Community Hospice’s Truman House at New Philadelphia.

Born on July 14, 1949 at Dennison, Ohio, Charlie was a son of the late Robert and Ernestine (Porter) Fisher.

Charlie’s artistic talents, free spirit, and helping hand will be missed by many. He is survived by his daughters, Angela (Jason) Calkins and Katie (Jason) Farnsworth; two grandsons; a sister, Ann (Bill) Hostetler; a brother, Jim (Casey) Fisher; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Fisher.

The family will greet guests on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 5-8 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Burial will be in Evergreen Burial Park.

Instead of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Charlie’s name be directed to Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Avenue SW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
