Carolyn M. Ager

Carolyn M. Ager, age 81, of Midvale, Ohio, passed into the arms of her Lord on April 1, 2026, while surrounded by her family. She was a beloved mother, wife, sister and grandmother.

Carolyn leaves behind a son, Kelly W. Ager; two daughters, Lisa (Ron) Danne, and Jami (Daryl) Miles, II; step-daughter, Faith (Jeff) Van Schaik; seven grandchildren, Kaci (Chris) Yost, Abbey and William Danne, Morgan and Maddison Miles, and Josh and Kyle Van Schaik; brother, Richard (Judy) Albaugh; sister-in-law, Donna Jean Haney; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Evelyn (Simmons) Albaugh; her husband of 50 years, James Ager who passed away in May of 2019; brother, Lyle Albaugh; and nephews, Doug and Jeff Albaugh, and Rex Haney.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 4:30 PM in Faith Christian Church at New Philadelphia, Ohio with Pastor Brian Flood officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ohio’s Hospice, 716 Commercial Avenue SW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663 or Faith Christian Church, 2012 Pleasant Valley Road NE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
