Carla Clinton, age 76, of Dennison went running to her Lord on October 6, 2026, following a brief period of declining health. Carla is now enjoying some long-awaited Mother-Daughter dances with her beautiful daughter, Carrieanne Clinton.

Born, Carla Faye Rippel on February 13, 1950, Carla was the daughter of the late Robert C. and June W. (Bailey) Rippel. Carla grew up in New Philadelphia and graduated with the New Philadelphia High School class of 1968.

While working at the New Philadelphia Goshen Dairy, Carla met the love of her life, Bill Clinton. They married on October 18, 1968 and shared nearly 58 years together. Carla and Bill embraced the birth of their beautiful daughter, Carrieanne in 1975. Carla, Bill and Carrieanne later moved to the Dallas, Texas area (Mesquite, Texas) to be near Carrieanne’s medical specialists and their incredible hospitals.

Carla is survived by her loving husband, Bill; brother, Brad (Mary Jane) Rippel of Bolivar; brothers-in-law, Richard Clinton, Robert (Judy) Clinton, Steve (Debbie) Clinton, and Marty (Michelle) Clinton; step-brother-in-law, Randy (Deb) Ewing; step-sister-in-law, Darcie Shepherd; mother-in-law, Deloris Clinton; many nieces and nephews, special cousins, and dear friends that all meant so much to her.

Carla was preceded in death by her parents; daughter; step-brother-in-law, Ronald Ewing; and step-sister-in-law, Dawn Ewing.

Her church family, Tabor Ridge Community Church was always there for her and prayed and visited often, with Pastor John Dunn, ministering the Word faithfully to and with Carla.

Cremation care has been entrusted to Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
