Betty Arnold

Betty Arnold resided in Las Vegas, Nevada for the majority of her life and welcomed the sunshine and hot weather with open arms, laughter and a smile. She had a love and appreciation for “Sin City” like no other. The last few years of her life, she resided in Ohio where her journey on earth was completed on February 8, 2026.

Betty was 84 years old, young at heart, true and authentic, with love, caring, and kindness for everyone she met. She was adored, cherished and admired for the wonderful quality of acceptance and she believed everyone should be happy and live life without judgement. She had a witty banter about her and created words that would make you laugh and repeat and was not afraid to speak her truth.

Her beloved youngest son, Dr. George Kosmides, was preceded in her death and she is survived by her daughter, Kathy Kosmides and son, James Kosmides and a legacy of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Per her wish, Betty (Mom), (Grandma Betty), a celebration of her life will be held at Venice Beach, California at a future date.

Rest easy Mom, now you can have your “shoddy moddy” day every day where you are at peace, sun is always shining, and surrounded by love. You will forever be only a heartbeat away.
