Barry Green, Sr., age 60, of Massillon, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026 in Aultman Hospital at Canton.

Born in Dover on December 15, 1965 he was a son of the late Thurston Fish and Ruth Green.

He was an avid outdoorsman all of his life. He loved to hunt and fish. He also exceled in grilling and cooking for family events. However, his greatest joy was spending time and traveling with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Green, whom he married on January 7, 2012; children, Dannielle (Joel) Stone of New Philadelphia, Brandi (Jamie) Leslie of New Philadelphia, Barry (Nicole Jones) Green, Jr. of Dennison, Christina Green, Kari Green, Jade Green of Massillon, Harper Green of Massillon, and Sapphire Green of Massillon; step-daughter, Natasha Keener of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Allanah, Breonah, Gavin, Naomi, Callie, Hunter, and Laila; sisters, Vicky and Kelly; and brothers, Larry, Terry, and Gary.

He is preceded in death by his parents; nephews, Landon, and Spencer; and grandson, Reid.

In keeping with Barry’s wishes cremation care has been entrusted to Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory. No services are planned at this time.
