Audrey Edith Bryant, age 85, of St. George, Utah and formerly of New Philadelphia, passed away peacefully, Thursday, September 12, 2024, while in the care of Applegate Hospice, in her residence.
A daughter of the late Albert and Faye (Eggleston) Bryant, Audrey was born in Alderson, West Virginia on June 20, 1939.
Audrey Completed her GED at New Philadelphia High School and for a handful of years worked at Rite Aid, the former Hills Department Store at New Philadelphia and also was the manager of the Family Dollar for many years. She was a devoted servant of God having been an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she served in the Relief Society and taught Seminary classes. She loved sharing her faith with others.
In addition to her devotion to her church, Audrey had a deep devotion and love for her family. Having raised a family of six children, she later found great joy in being able to be a grandmother to her numerous grandchildren, having the opportunity to babysit and care for many of them as well. She had a love for shopping, going out to eat, caring for her dog, Rocky, and in her later years enjoying simple pleasures such as watching the birds, squirrels, and most lately, the lizards around her home.
She will be missed by her six children, Elaine Kunzi, Brenda Hughes, Donna Van Natter, Jay (Peggy) Van Natter, Jill (Darin) Baxter and Jennifer (Robbie) Stingel; her nephew who was like a son, Danny Duncan; 13 grandchildren, Heidi Kunzi, Heather (Dustin) Black, Anna Kunzi, Latricia Hashman, Ariel (Brad) Salmon, Tara (Jimmy) Laner, Ryan (Audrey) Tristano, Stephanie Black, Kymberly Baxter, Samantha (Kaden) Jones, Hunter (Kellie) Baxter, and Chelsie and Natalie Stingel; 20 great-grandchildren, Audrey, Bowie, Price, Sterling, Elaine, Artie, Alex, Kylie, Kirsten, Hunter, Mila, Kennedy, Aurelia, Teddy, Ellie Mae, Walter, Wyatt, Sage, Savanna, and Brooklyn; one great-great-granddaughter, Kimberly; a sister, Aurelia (Fred) Edwards, two nieces, and one nephew.
In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by a sister, Arlene Duncan, two grandsons, Nicholas Kunzi, Spencer Hughes, and her former husband, Loma Van Natter.
A private service will be held in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover with burial to follow in the Dover Burial Park.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Gina, Andy, and Shalayne of Applegate Hospice and to Beckham Noorda, Carter Winter, and Stone Thompson for administering the sacrament. Her beautiful smile and eyes lit up every time they walked into our home.
