Adolf “Dolf” Koch, 83, of Dover, died Thursday, October 29, 2009 at his home.A son of the late Adolf and Ottilie (Pinkle) Koch, Dolf was born August 4, 1926 at Saarbruecken, Germany.Dolf was retired as the museum superintendent of the Western-Reserve Historical Society.He is survived by his longtime companion, Mary Lou Ullstrom Koch of Dover and her daughter, Judy (Larry) Hogan of Plano, Texas.In keeping with Dolf’s wishes, cremation will take place through the care of Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory. A committal service will be held at a later date in Dover Burial Park.Contributions may be made in Dolf’s memory to Cats ‘N’ Us, 829 Union Avenue, Dover, OH 44622.
