Nick Alleshouse knows the benefits of advance planning from first-hand experience, as he had the honor of planning his father-in-law's funeral. "Not many guys can say their father-in-law is one of their best friends; mine was," Nick explained.

During what can be an incredibly emotional time, Nick, his wife, and his family did not have to make difficult decisions in planning the funeral; the decisions had already been made. "My father-in-law knew what he wanted, which made [the experience] easier. I'm proud to have helped a great man when he needed it."

Through his work as an advance funeral planner, Nick is now able to assist other families in the community in the same way.
