Nathan Douglas is a graduate of New Philadelphia High School's Class of 1999 and a 2005 graduate of Kent State University, Tuscarawas Campus. Nathan holds a bachelors degree in Computer Technology and after spending a number of years in the technology field felt called to join the Geib family and staff because of a life-long desire to help others on a more personal level.
Nathan and his wife, Amanda currently reside at Dennison. Together, they have three children, Alexander and Zachary and Maegan. The family attends and is quite active in Park Christian Church at Dennison. In addition to his service at Park Christian, Nathan is also a member of the Clayland Lions Club whose service in the Twin City area focuses on sight conservation.
Nathan is the son of Dan and Cynthia Douglas of New Philadelphia and attributes his hard work ethic and attention to detail to his parents and from his high school career as a member of the New Philadelphia Instrumental Music Program.
"While growing up in the area, I had the opportunity to attend several visitations and services for family and friends at the Geib Funeral Home. I was always impressed and awed at the spectacular care they took for each individual that walked through their doors. I hoped that someday, I would have the opportunity to join such a wonderful and caring group of people and am thankful every day to come and work along side them."
Nathan hopes to pass his care and compassion on to each family he meets to make the grieving process for the loss of a loved one less painful and more meaningful.
