Frank Fantin, a familiar face at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at New Philadelphia, joined the Geib Family and Staff simply for his desire to meet new people and to help them through difficult times. "What better place than Geib's to do that," said Frank.
A longtime member of Sacred Heart Church, Frank, along with his wife, Fran, dedicates much of his time to the church. He serves on the cemetery board, sings in the choir, and both he and Fran serve as Eucharistic Ministers and Cantors.
Frank graduated from Midvale High School and then received a degree in accounting from Union College of Commerce. He started his professional career as a classified advertising manager for The Daily Times and then went to work for Ohio Savings & Trust, currently known as National City Bank. He retired as Assistant Vice President of Human Resources after 25 years with the bank. Following retirement, Frank worked part-time for Helbling's Supply at New Philadelphia for 13 years.
Besides his longtime membership at his church, Frank is a life member of the Knights of Columbus, a life member of Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus where he served as Faithful Purser and was also a life member of New Philadelphia Elks Lodge #510.
Frank can often be found working in his yard at his home or attending Tuscarawas Philharmonic events. He enjoys following the Cleveland professional sports team, even through all the heartache.
His family includes his wife, Fran, the longtime school nurse at Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School and a son, Matthew, who resides at Winchester, Virginia.
