William Errington

William L. “Bill” Errington, 75, of New Philadelphia, passed away, Monday, November 26, 2018 in Hennis Care Centre at Dover following a brief illness.

Born in Dennison April 14, 1943, he was the son of the late Harold L. and Virginia R. Chaney Errington and had retired from Oxford Mining where he worked as a heavy equipment operator. Bill was a lifetime member of the New Philadelphia First Church of the Nazarene and over the years had served on many of the church boards and along with his wife, Norma, had taught the Young Married Sunday School Class.

He is survived by his wife, Norma J. Errington of the residence; a son, Bill (Stacie) Errington of Gahanna; a daughter, Molly (Mick) Derrow of Dover; and grandchildren, Cody Errington and his girlfriend, Star Venery of Dover and Dylan and Sydney Errington of Gahanna.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 30, 2018 at 1:30 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home at New Philadelphia with Pastor Terry Kidd officiating. Burial will be in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens at Dover. Visitation will be Friday, November 30, 2018 from 11:30 AM until the time of the services.
