Deepest sympathy to her family. Vera was a great lady whom I enjoyed working with at the town hall. Midvale could not have asked for a better mayor. She truly cared about the community & the people in it. She will be missed.

To Linda and family... So sorry to hear of Vera's passing. We have known her since her Midvale V.F.W. softball days in the mid-seventies, and as Mayor of Midvale as she always supported our Midvale U.M. Church activities, ice cream socials, the Mining Festival, even as her health was failing. Our prayers and sympathy to your family, now and in the days ahead. She will be missed by the whole community. God Bless.

This makes me so sad. I was blessed to sit down and interview Vera for our upcoming Midvale History book and we shared so many memories and much laughter. We were blessed to have her as our mayor for many years. She truly loved this town in which she lived her entire life. Vera truly never hid her Midvale Pride! Rest In Peace dear friend.
