Dear Steve & family: I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your dear Stephanie. Stef was so kind to me and such a support to me during a very difficult time of my life. I've quite missed working with her (library). Her stories, sense of humor & love of song always brightened my day. May you be able to find comfort in your memories and the love she showed to others.

To the Family of Stephanie Baird, As I read through the many tributes to Stephanie, it was clear her legacy is that of a gracious lady, with an energetic and caring personality. This is an emotional time for each of you, and I know there is a huge void felt by everyone that knew and cared for her. May you find comfort and strength through sharing the many fond memories you have of Stephanie, My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Steve, Elaine, Marlee, Matt and families... I was so sorry to hear about Stef. From the times I spent nights at her house while growing up, to helping Marlee pick out books for her to read during our MANY trips to the library, to her asking me 25 years ago during a visit to the library if I was interested in a job (which I got and still hold, thanks to her), to working with her for 20+ years, she was a pure joy. Her stories were the best, she definitely knew how to make us laugh. I know you have each other to lean on, but know that you're all in my thoughts and prayers. She was a great friend, we talk about her at work a good bit, she will be deeply missed.

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. I worked with Stef at the library and she was great encouragement as I worked on my degree. We shared a love of her cooking, as well as antiques. She was a great storyteller even before she joined the Children's Dept! I can still see her telling us the story of Steve going hunting in his hunter orange pumpkin costume. God bless you, Stef and many condolences to the family. Sandra Murphy
