Shirley Rothenstine

Shirley Ann Rothenstine, 76, of New Philadelphia, died Wednesday, September 5, 2018 in Schoenbrunn Health Care at New Philadelphia following a period of declining health.

A daughter of the late Bernice (Thomas) Cunningham, Shirley was born August 15, 1942 at Plainfield, Ohio.

She is survived by her daughter, Joan Rothenstine of New Philadelphia, as well as many other extended family members.

Shirley was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Bernice and Fred Cunningham; her husband, Edward Rothenstine; and a daughter, Tammy Rothenstine.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service celebrating Shirley’s life will follow at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens at Dover. Following the committal service, a luncheon will be held in the Geib Family Center at New Philadelphia.
