I knew Sandy since grade school. I was one of the south side school students. I ALWAYS loved her. I remember one year she beat me out of the spelling bee. I was the alternate. She was always the fastest at looking up things in the 6th grade books. Sandy grew up to be a wonderful person. She would help anyone. She was so thoughtful & considerate. All of us girls that got together regularly loved her. There will never be another like her. Rest in Peace Sandy, you are in a better place

I was hired in 2015 to be the new Volunteer Coordinator for Community Hospice in Columbiana County. Sandra came to my office with Vicki to help train me. I have had the pleasure of working with her on several volunteer trainings and speaking with her over the phone for many things. She had a beautiful spirit with a loving companionate soul. I will treasure the memories and conversations we shared together . She truly was beautiful inside and out. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. Thinking of your family at this very difficult time. Sandy was one of the kindest, caring and honest people I have ever known. I will certainly miss our running into each other at the grocery store or her e-mails every few weeks just to say "hi" or send me one of her favorite memories. She will certainly be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.

Vic, Carol, Vickie, and extended family, You have our deepest sympathy. Sandy was one of the kindest, sweetest, big-hearted people we have ever known. Her sweet spirit spread to so many people throughout her life. From growing up with her, riding to school with her and knowing her as adults, she gave and gave and helped everyone she knew. It was just a couple weeks ago that she and Don were at the hospital, concerned for Vic. We all will miss her terribly, but we have the promise of seeing her again in Heaven with our Lord. Don and I pray for peace, comfort and strength for all of you in the next few days and in the coming weeks ahead. Standing on Psalm 31:24 "Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD."

Sandy was an awesome co-worker. Always friendly, kind, and caring. She reached out to each of my hearing impaired students. They would often be found down in her office getting their Sandy time. Sandy also had a strong faith in God and was not ashamed to share Him with others. Thank you Sandy for sharing your life, love, and Savior with us!
