Nela Wilson

Nela (Holota) Wilson, age 77, of New Philadelphia passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on October 13, 2016 following a short illness.
Born in Smolensk, White Russia on May 6, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Anna Prezesmiska.

She served in the retail industry during her professional career. On July 25, 2008, she married her husband, James J. Wilson, and together they enjoyed retirement in New Philadelphia.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Tammy (Dan) Flynn, Christopher (Mary) Jackson, Jr., James (Joann) Wilson, Brian (Colleen) Wilson, David Wilson, and Marie (Matt) Gillane; her grandchildren, Brendan, Sean, and Kelly Flynn, Christopher Jackson, and Christopher, Matthew, Jennifer, Sean, Cole, and Ava Wilson; in addition to numerous other family members.

Father Jeff Coning will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday beginning at 10:30 a.m.
