Lynn H. Dudley

Lynn H. Dudley, 75, of New Philadelphia, passed away peacefully April 19, 2018 at his residence.

Born in New Philadelphia on April 14, 1943, he was the son of the late Andrew J. and Mary R. (Blind) Dudley. He was very proud of his service in the United States Marines prior to being a long-distance truck driver throughout his career.

Lynn loved sports and was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, the New Philadelphia Quakers, and the Cleveland Indians. He also enjoyed NASCAR and listening to music. Many will fondly remember him from his time at the New Philadelphia VFW where he was a life member.

His family includes his children, Carrie and Rachel Dudley, both of Pittsburgh, and his son, Andrew, of Waynesburg; his grandchildren, Felix and Oliver Dudley; his sister, Jean Beaber of New Philadelphia; in addition to several nieces and nephews.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents; his children, Heather and Heath; and siblings, Jackie and Jerry Dudley and Betty Miller.

A gathering to honor Lynn will be held at the New Philadelphia VFW. The date and time have yet to be determined.
