Lois E. Witmer, 73, of Bolivar, died Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia following a period of declining health.

Lois E. Witmer, 73, of Bolivar, died Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia following a period of declining health.

Born in Alliance on October 11, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Louis J. and Istra G. (O’Brien) Goldner. Lois retired from Wal-Mart in Wooster where she worked as a store associate and also attended the Bolivar Wesleyan Church.

Lois is survived by two daughters, Lisa J. Wilson of Orrville and Tiffany Witmer of Panama, Florida; six grandchildren, Dean Wilson, Dylan Wilson, Mitchell Hatten, Sawyer Howell, Tanner Howell, and Tristan Weltlich; her sister, Sandra A. Tucker of Bolivar; and two nephews, Jim (Debbi) Tucker of Strasburg and Jerry (Betsey) Tucker of Bolivar.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation care will be carried out through Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory in Dover. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
