Linda L. Ball

Linda Lea Ball, 73, of New Philadelphia, passed away July 1, 2018 in Amberwood Manor under the care of Community Hospice.

Born in Uhrichsville on February 20, 1945, she was the daughter of the late John Melvin and Hazel Maxine (Vickers) Milburn.

Linda graduated from the former Uhrichsville High School and spent the past 21 years working for Shoney’s Restaurant in both New Philadelphia and Canton.

Linda will be deeply missed by her children, Jon E. (Mary B.) Ball of Summersville, West Virginia, Lonnie Ball (James Ferrero) of North Canton, and Belinda (fiancé, Eduardo Martinez) Ball of San Antonio, Texas; her siblings, Sandy Rishaw, Lola Johnson, and Mark (Vickie) Milburn; her grandchildren, Ethan Ball, Jordan Ramsey, and Darrick Ramsey; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in passing by her siblings, Nancy McCrea, Janice K. Milburn, and John W. Milburn.

A memorial service celebrating Linda’s life will be held in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover on Friday, July 6, 2018, beginning at 2 PM.
