With deepest and heartfelt sympathy to all the family. What a great loss to so many! Nita was such a beautiful lady, inside and out and so sweet and kind to all who worked at the Rootbeer Stand years ago--- and I mean YEARS! I ran into she and your father many times at Drugmart over the years and we would "yak and yak"! Then, regretfully,I would see her in the hallway at the nursing home and I was so saddened but I did taik to her and pray that it helped and that she knew me. I will treasure Nita's memory as long as I live.

Nita was a special lady for sure! I was a third grade teacher at South Elementary when Nita was our one and only "chef and bottle washer"! What I most remember about her was she was so kind and caring with the children, never let anyone go away hungry, even teachers! She always had a jolly attitude, big smile. And she was generous with leftover green beans, loved those dishes of green beans. Love the memories of the good old days at South! God bless you all, her loved ones. She was special for sure! God's blessings to you, Pat Peters Dunn

My deepest sympathies for the loss of your mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and sister. Growing up on the south side, I remember the pleasant smile that she always had - a very nice lady to the kids that went to her house.

So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. We worked at South Elementary together where she was the cook and I was an aide. Also knew her from Union Camp gatherings where your Dad and my late husband worked together. She always had a smile that would make even the worst days bright again.

Nita was the sweetest friend a person could have. Always smiling and always doing for others. But her family came first and the pride on her face when she spoke of them made you happy. We have been dear friends, sharing many things over a period of some 40 years. God definitely needed a beautiful Angel today. He took the best. Our prayers for Cindy, her sister and brother and especially the grandkids that she was so very proud of. This leaves a huge hole in our heart today. Lovingly, Karen & Keith Rippeto
