To all the family of Jeanette, I am so sorry for your loss. Jeanette and I became acquainted many years ago at a little Baptist church in Uhrichsville, Ohio. We remained friends throughout the years. I am so sorry I missed coming to the funeral. I only learned of Jeanette's passing this evening.I would have tried to be there if I had known. She was a lovely person and very talented. I am blessed to have known her. God bless all of you with comfort and peace. Love and prayers, Jean Ann Crosier -Ross

Miss Larkin was my beloved third grade teacher at Tuscarawas School. I have thought of her many, many times with immense fondness. She was a wonderful teacher and treated everyone with great kindness and love. She will never be forgotten by so, so many to whom she taught mutual respect and love for one another. God bless her always. God bless her family.

So sorry for the family's loss. I had Miss Larkin as my 3rd grade teacher @ Newcomerstown in 1976-77. One of my favorite things about her class was the way she encouraged us to love to write. She encouraged us to do a creative writing piece each week that we could read to the class if we chose to do so. I absolutely loved this! She taught us to believe in ourselves and our ability to create something from nothing. She also taught us to communicate well. Miss Larkin played a big role in inspiring me to become a teacher myself. She was a terrific teacher, and I am sure that she inspired countless students throughout her career.

Mrs. Larkin was one of the all time most important people to cross my path as a child. She gave me bags of school clothes that she said were just lying around and just happen to be my size. She encouraged me to do my best no matter what. She remained my secret pal throughout elementary school. I would get so excited when I would receive jewelry and candy bars in unmarked envelopes from my secret pal. I was the first person to graduate from college from my family and am now a second grade teacher. I think of her often and try to care for my students the way she cared for me. May she Rest In Peace.

So sad to hear of Miss Larkin's passing. She was my 3rd grade teacher at West Elementary in Newcomerstown and ended up being my favorite and most cherished teacher! She truly loved and cared for her students! As an Educational Aide in an elementary school today, I sometimes find myself thinking "what would Miss Larkin do?" Prayers to her family. She will be missed!
