Denny W. Huston

Denny W. Huston, 66, Of New Philadelphia died July 23, 2016 with his loving wife Carol by his side. Denny was born November 6, 1949 in Canton, Ohio to William and Gertrude Huston.

He attended Canton South Schools. He was employed as a well operator for Stocker-Sitler, Deupty Sheriff and Correctional Officer for Tuscarawas County Sheriff Department, and Laborer for Click Burial Vault. He was a member of the Midvale United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Midvale Fire Department for many years. He is known as being an avid antique car enthusiast. Along with his amazing sense of humor and practical jokes he will be remembered for his compassion and the way he cared for his family and friends.

He is survived by loving wife of 34 years Carol Leone-Basiletti-Huston of New Philadelphia; children, Tony Basiletti of Kirkersville, Lynn (Brian) Dessecker of Dover, and Amy (Mark Everhart) Wires of Gnadenhutten; grandchildren, Dr. Brandon Dessecker of Youngstown, and Riley, Raegan, Reece, and Roman Wires of Gnadenhutten; brother Joe Huston of Winesburg; numerous nieces, nephews, brother and sister in laws; many friends and longtime animal companions Bridgett and Buster.

Denny is preceded in death by Parents William and Gertrude Huston, Brother Chuck Malone, Jim Malone, and Sister Carol Pettit.

The family would like to thank the staff of Community Hospice and Schoenbrunn Healthcare for the excellent and amazing care that they provided to Denny.

Family will receive guests 5-8 PM on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home, 116 Second St. NE, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663, where funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 with visitation also an hour before the funeral service. Burial will be at Evergreen Burial park in New Philadelphia with a Luncheon provided afterwards at the Midvale United Methodist Church at the square in Midvale
