Charles Smitley

Charles R Smitley, 65, of Uhrichsville, passed away in Schoenbrunn Healthcare Center at New Philadelphia on December 30, 2017.

Born in Dover on December 13, 1952, he was the son of the Norma Jean Haglock of Columbus and the late Charles E. Smitley.

Chuck was a graduate of Dover High School, and worked for 18 years in Coco, Florida at Seaside Yacht Refinishing.

Chuck is survived by his mother, Norma Jean; his siblings, Michael Smitley of Uhrichsville, Michelle Ford of New Philadelphia, and Janet Kaine of Columbus; and his step-mother, Bernice L. Smitley of New Philadelphia.

No public visitation or services are scheduled. Cremation will be cared for by Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory at Dover.
