Girls, You had a great Mother as I am sure you knew. I first met Catherine and Richard at Harrison Chapter OES, Cadiz. They were loyal members and continued that at Unionport Chapter. My sympathy to you and your families.

Carol and I will miss Catherine greatly. A beautiful lady has gone to be with her family. Just wish we lived closer to see you one last time. In our prayers she will be remembered. Catherine was my cousin and I loved her very much.

We are so sorry to learn of your Mother's death. She was a faithful member of our Order for many years. Even in her later years she made it to our functions and it was a joy to see her. She and your Dad Richard left a lasting impression on many young ladies as they were very active in the Rainbow Girls. We all share your sorrow. Order of the Eastern Star Audrey, Secretary

To all of you Hawkins, Farnsworth,Snyder and Burns family members I join you all in grieving the passing of Catherine. In no way am I trying to be first, but give me a minute to identify myself. I am the son of Ruth and John Burns of Steubenville Ohio. My Father was the brother of Catherine's Grandmother, Katie Snyder. Catherine and her brother Tom are my second cousins. Being born in the 1930's, it was not common to travel to see "distant' relatives. I do believe we were aware and have quickly passing memories of each other. My wife and I moved to Canton some years ago.. We became aware of the fact Catherine lived in Dover. We made contact and went to her home in Dover where we visited and enjoyed a lunch with her. She was as warm as any family member could be. She shared family stories and "bunches & bunches" of pictures. Her pride in her family was very noticeable, and you all got some " Mommie Time" from her. She was a very caring Mother, Aunt, Grandma, Mother-in-law to you all. She did not have the easy life. Her health would have slowed down many people. But her time spent with Brownies and Rainbow Girls shows her love for Family and Friends. May God Bless you all. We know God will welcome her with open arms. Ed & Carol Burns 9413 Huntshire ave NW North Canton, Oh 44720

So sorry for your loss. The loss of one's mother is always painful. She was a kind lady who was always willing to share helpful information about this NF2. Unfortunately, it seemed to hit her especially hard. She will be missed by many, but we know there is no more pain for her. God bless.
