I remember Burt from my Mister Donut days back in the late 80's. I enjoyed waiting on him. He was a nice guy who genuinely seemed to care about people. My prayers go out to his family.

So sorry to read of Burt's passing. Thoughts and prayers for your family. Graduated with Burt and remember as a really "great guy" and football player. He helped Dover High beat New Philly in 1956, first time in many years. May he rest in peace.

Burt was an inspiration to a "kid" like me, so "cool" and a policeman. I consider myself very blessed to have known Burt at that time of my life. Karen, I am truly sorry. Please find peace with your family.

Dear Karen, Steve, Brett and family I'm so sad to hear about Burt...... What a Wonderful man! We had so much fun together when we worked at NPPD! Burt was very kind, and always helped us young kids find our way! I have to laugh, the day Burt and the Chief were riding around in the cruiser during the day, and the mic stuck, and we could hear the two of them discussing the turtles over the air, and no one could find them to tell them, until they walked in the back door of the station! One of the great stories to pass in through the ages! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you! ?

Dear Karen, Steve, Brett & entire Link family, I was saddened to hear of Burts' passing. Wish I had the opportunity to see you in person. Stopped at the farm a few times over the years but couldn't connect. Burt taught me so much about life & people in the years we worked together & Karen, you were always a gem to work with. I still use some life examples Burt taught me as a 21 yr old kid. May you all be consoled in your grief by our Lord and hopefully our paths will cross soon. Please call if I can do anything. God Bless, Lyle ( Tope as Burt would say) Tope
