Betty Robson

October 31, 1930 — December 3, 2018

Betty E. Robson, 88, of New Philadelphia, died Monday, December 3, 2018 in Community Hospice Truman House at New Philadelphia following a brief illness.

Born in Monroe County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late David A. and Winnie A. Cowdrey Davis and a sister to Mildred Curtis and Dorothy Lanum. Betty was a wife to her husband, the late Clifford M. Robson; a mother to an infant daughter, the late Gail Rae Robson; her daughter, Carol Diane (Joseph) Ginnetti; her sons, Clifford Darryl (Joyce) Robson, Philip Doyle (Susan) Robson and Roger Duane Robson; a grandmother to Brenten (Alicia) Robson, Aimee (Igor) Maxel and David (Stacie) Robson; a great grandmother to Reece, Ali and Alaina Robson and a Christian friend to all who knew her.

Let me look Death in the eye and not wrestle with Him. For He, the stronger, would lustily laugh at my feeble push. I owe Death no favors – I have never flirted with Him, nor invited Him. Yet, before I was born, He awaited me, smiling his grasping smile. In His selfishness, there is one thought that he has neglected to face – He cannot keep me! For I am my Lord’s, and some day – some glorious day – with a triumphant shout, my Lord shall come to claim His own! Death! You have failed! “The Loser” By Lucille Sanders

The family would like to thank Community Hospice for the loving care given in the last few weeks of Betty’s life and in keeping with her wishes, she is to be cremated through the care of Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory and private services will be held by the family.
